Description:

Working with teams across our Halifax and Grand Cayman Office, the Staff Accountant will be a member of audit teams with responsibility for performing tasks delegated to them while learning to work more independently and progress toward Senior Associate. Staff Associate may also serve on other non-audit related projects and are expected to contribute to a positive office culture. Teams will be led by employees in both Halifax and the Cayman Islands and the need for short-term travel to the Cayman Islands may be required from time to time.

Qualifications:

You should be a recent or soon to be graduate of a business/commerce program with a concentration in accounting, able to start full time by September 2024.

You should want to start your career in audit, with plans to enroll in the CPA program immediately and complete within 2 years.

You must be a sharp individual with a curious nature and strong desire to learn and excel in your job. You should be well organized, able to manage your time and balance priorities, and be a good communicator.

You must be authorized to work in Canada and have a valid passport with no restrictions to travel abroad.
